I'm the founder and interior designer at Roxana Rahaman Design based in Shepperton, Surrey, and I help create homes that bring genuine joy to homeowners.
I don't have a ‘signature style’, and that's entirely the point. It’s about you, not me. I care about the mix: how things sit together, what they say about the person who lives there, and whether it all feels considered and carefully chosen.
I’m not the designer who'll hand you a design that looks like everyone else's, or feels a little too ‘matched'. I'm drawn to vintage markets, independent suppliers, Facebook Marketplace finds, the high street, and the occasional splurge - often all in the same room.
My approach is led by you, and the bones of your home. The outcome is to make it feel more alive, more you. I'll bring the modern metallic lamp, floral curtain, and the mid-century armchair into the design with whatever you already own and love, and we'll make something that works. Curated. Intentional. Personal.
Hello, I’m Roxana
I came to interior design after 18+ years in marketing, a career I loved, until I didn't. What brought me to the door of this new one was something much simpler: an unexpected, ongoing enjoyment of my own home. The satisfaction of a freshly painted room. The thrill of a vintage rug found online that pulls an entire space together. The realisation that how you live in your home really matters, and that I wanted to help other people feel that too.
So I retrained. I completed a Level 3 Diploma in Professional Interior Design, became a professional member of The Interior Designers Hub, and I haven't looked back.
My history
Why my background matters
Eighteen years in marketing taught me things that make me, I think, a better designer. I know how to really listen and how to spot the gap between what someone says they want and what they actually mean, culminating in a truly authentic brief. I've led cross-functional projects, managed creative teams, worked to tight timelines, delivered brilliant brand work, and kept the customer at the heart of every decision. I understand that true collaboration is how you will achieve something special.
All of that translates directly. I won't over-complicate things. I'll be clear about what I'm doing and why. I'll get it done. And we’ll always have fun along the way!
