As with anything, what you choose to spend your money on is entirely your business and up to you! Everyone places different values on different things. Designing a space/home that works for you where you feel at home, where it’s personal, a reflection of you and delivers what you need is the outcome of working with an Interior Designer. I will bring to life your vision and cut through all the overwhelm and clutter to define and design your space with you, hand and hand, so that you don’t have to do it alone. Do it right once and you won’t need to keep spending your money and time not quite getting it right. Honestly, it can be game and life changing.
-
Yes. Being clear about your budget at the start of a project is key to understand where you’ve apportioned money and ultimately, the scope of work. It also ensures everyone sticks to this. Depending on the projects’s needs, you ideally know what you’ve budgeted for each service required, for example, an architect, structural engineer, builder, trades, interior designer, and furniture, fixtures (fitted and non fitted) and equipment etc…
-
Absolutely! I love mixing old and new - it’s feels more curated and thoughtful. And it’s environmentally friendly and sustainable. You don’t have to buy everything new to achieve your dream space. Let me know what you would prefer to keep and , if possible, I will see how it can work into the design.

This is up to you. It depends on how busy you are and really, if you like getting involved in the detail. My job is to make you feel comfortable and I can work with you however you prefer. Some people like to be involved whereas others trust me to look after everything. But, the final design always requires client sign off.
-
This can vary from project to project and factors such as the size of space, how many spaces, how much you’re looking to change, if you have tradespeople booked in etc, can affect timelines. However, this will always be discussed with you so you feel informed and comfortable.

‘A design refresh’ service is an online only offer (sometimes called E-Design), with an online consultation and the final design report delivered via email.
‘The full design’ is, ideally, an in person service, depending on your location. However, it may be possible to offer this remotely. This will be discussed in the call.
-
The 30 minute discovery call has no charge.
The full fee for ‘A fresh perspective’ is payable before the consultation.
The £200 consultation fee for ‘The full design’ is payable before the consultation. There will be a payment schedule aligned to the design stages (dependent on the scope of work post consultation) and it will be agreed to between the designer and the client in the contract before any work begins.

Procuring (finding and buying) items for your home can be all consuming, stressful and seemingly endless. My procurement service for Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) - movable items that are not permanently attached to a building and equips or furnishes the space as intended - takes that off your hands, leaving you stress-free.
I share my trade discounts in full which can result in quite a saving overall!
The number of items to be procured is subject to the brief and design.
My procurement fee is 12.5% of the recommended retail price (RRP), for each FF&E item sourced by me, and is invoiced separately. Payment of every item is payable by you to me before the order is placed.

Room measurements and photos will be provided by you (I will provide guidance).
For ‘The full design’, I may add to these measurements and photos during the at home consultation or in a separate visit, if necessary.
-
Support is provided as part of each service and in relation to the final design only.
Changes or amendments required to the final design post handover are charged at an hourly rate.
