Project priory
This project’s outcome was to deliver a revised layout and key colour choices so that the client’s house became their home. They wished for a dining room space where they could eat, work and entertain. A space that felt cosy and relaxing. Where they could sit for hours chatting and eating.
The hallway was a blank canvas which needed an injection of personality, especially because it’s the first space you see when you enter the home. It also needed ideas for practical and aesthetic storage solution for coats, shoes and keys, as well as decorative accessories.
The space in the Priory project for review - a entrance hallway and the dining room in a typical 1930's home. The client wanted to inject some personality and colour, and a cohesive feel.
An example of inspiration images for the entrance hallway to give the clients ideas of direction of travel.
A 2d furniture layout plan with key products highlighted. This birds eye view helps clients visualise their space and how it all connects with each other, especially important in an open plan space, such as this.
The colour palette with placement guidelines. They were chosen for their softness and warmth for their separate spaces, whilst purposefully feeling connected to each other, and part of the same colour story.
